Wand Jet Check-Valve/Extenders accomplish 3 things. First, it helps stop annoying drip problems evident with v-jets that ordinarily don't have a valve mounted check valve to halt water flow after the main wand valve is closed. This is caused by remaining water in the line between the valve and jet. A check valve impedes this draining phenomenon that causes jets to drip. Second, the extension permits the jets to be closer to the carpet, offering a better flow and heat patterning, needed especially when glides are installed either on a scrub type wand, or an RX-20. Third, it delivers better pressure to the carpet interface.
