TLS 2000 Heavy-Duty High-pH Prespray / Traffic Lane Spotter for Extremely Dirty Commercial Carpet

TLS 2000 is a very powerful prespray and traffic lane spotter for use before hot water extraction on heavily soiled commercial carpet. It's too strong for routine and residential use.

Features and Benefits

• Formulated for greasy restaurants, extremely soiled commercial carpets, trashed apartments and olefin carpet fiber.
• Olefin fiber, common in commercial carpet, has a strong attraction for oily soils, which calls for highly aggressive detergents and presprays like TLS 2000.
• An extremely strong, super-concentrated liquid formula containing grease emulsifiers and saponifiers, wetting agents, water softeners and grease-dissolving solvents:
  • The grease saponifiers are highly alkaline materials that chemically react with cooking grease, converting insoluble grease and fats into soluble soaps. This reaction, called saponification, splits fat molecules apart into soap and glycerin, essentially how soap has been made for over 2,000 years.
  • Wetting agents let the ingredients penetrate through massive layers of fat and grease for maximum chemical activity and speed.
  • Water softeners keep the soap from turning into curds that could leave a dulling sticky residue.
  • Solvents dissolve the grease and soap and keep the material liquefied for easy, complete pickup during wet extraction.
• Significantly reduces chemical usage, time, effort and cost on difficult grease-laden commercial carpets.
• Contains no Butyl Cellosolve, enzymes, free caustic or chlorinated solvents.
• Cuts cleaning time in half, cuts prespray needed at least in half, delivers better results, liquefies grease five times faster and leaves carpets cleaner and brighter.

Restrictions on Use

• Because of its very high pH, avoid contact with other surfaces such as glass, natural fibers like sisal and wool, wood and hard surface flooring.
• As with any high-pH detergent, use on printed carpet may cause dye bleed. If used on print carpet, follow cleaning with a Brown Out acid rinse.
• Clean any mats used between the kitchen and the carpet to avoid resoiling and slipperiness.
• Professional use only. Not for use by consumers.

• Not for use on residential carpet or natural fibers.

Directions

• Keep out of reach of children.
• Read label directions and cautions before using.
• Test for colorfastness.
• Apply 5 to 10 minutes before cleaning the carpet.
• Dilute 10 parts water to 1 part TLS 2000 (13 ounces per gallon) in a stainless steel sprayer, or preferably apply through an injection sprayer.
• The injection sprayer connects to your solution hose in place of the floor tool so the solution comes through hot. Keep the spray tip near the carpet surface to avoid creating a breathable mist.
• Under extreme soil conditions, may be diluted 5 parts water to 1 part TLS 2000.
• Physical agitation with a carpet rake or a buffer with a bonnet or white pad may be needed before extracting if soil is heavy, old and compacted.
